I so resonate with your message, Aram! I am launching Kat's Community Sound Bath in March, after much hesitation and a year's delay. I am excited, nervous, and in the process of getting unstuck from that thicket of self-doubt. My "something to offer" is still being formed, but I am resolute. I'm with you: we got this!

My maneuvers? Sometimes Jedi knight quality...able to wrestle the wobbles blindfolded. Other moments not so Jedi...more scared child trying g to see in the dark.

Aram, I could have quoted or highlighted this entire post. I love the imagery and the metaphors of thickets, thorns, wobbles, etc. Always difficult to pause and remember that we are enough.

Gentle, yes. Easy does it is the key. I thought one day I'd be out of the thicket. Only now, at midlife, am I starting to realize there is no end to the thicket if, as you said, you choose to enter the wilderness. Sometimes the thicket seems knottier and thornier than ever. It's not bad. Growing up in the mountains, and spending a lot of time wandering them by myself (something I still do), I took to heart what my dad taught me: if you think you're lost, stop, sit down, breathe, look around, and trust you know what to do. I type this from my city office, but even here--especially here--I often have to remind myself--kindly and gently--of those instructions.
